The gas-spring arm has been especially useful because I change my monitor position several times during the day. I can pull the screen closer when I’m concentrating and move it back when I need more desk space. The ability to rotate the display has also been useful when showing something to someone sitting beside me. I purchased this for a monitor that I frequently turn toward different parts of my office. The ability to rotate the screen has been especially useful when someone else needs to see what I'm working on. I also appreciate being able to switch between landscape and portrait orientation without changing the desk setup. Installation was fairly straightforward once I had the mounting location figured out. Jonny answered a couple of questions I had before ordering and was very easy to deal with.

The articulation on this mount is smooth, allowing me to swivel my monitor toward clients during meeting discussions. It locks in place firmly at any angle, completely eliminating display wobble while typing.

The gas spring tension lets me reposition my monitor with just a light push of a hand. It freed up a huge chunk of desk space that used to be taken up by the stock monitor base.
