I couldn’t be happier with this monitor arm! At $70, it’s a fantastic buy, and I’m glad I spent a little extra instead of going with the cheaper option.
Strength
For my lightweight 24" monitor, this arm is probably more than I need — it’s incredibly sturdy and feels built to last.
Assembly
You’ll need two different sizes of Phillips screwdrivers (not included), but three Allen keys are provided for adjustments. Attaching the cable management piece to the lower arm was a bit tricky — the screwdriver was essential to reach the screw holes — but overall assembly was straightforward. You do have to push the arm firmly onto the post, but it locks in securely.
Cable Management
The cable channels underneath the arm are sleek and solid. The upper tunnel is removable, though it takes a firm squeeze at two latch points. I didn’t end up running my HDMI cable through it since the bend would’ve been too sharp, but that’s a minor detail compared to how well the arm performs.
Range & Tilt
Fully extended, the arm holds my monitor a full two feet from the desk mount! It also raises high enough for me (I’m 6 feet tall). The upward tilt doesn’t make the monitor perfectly horizontal, but it’s flat enough to draw comfortably. If I ever get a drawing tablet, I’ll definitely buy another one of these arms.
This monitor arm completely freed up valuable desk space and made my setup much more organized. I had previously used a sliding keyboard tray to reduce clutter, but it actually took up a lot of room. Switching to this monitor arm mount gave me back that space and improved my workflow right away.
What really sets this AnthroDesk mount apart is the gas spring mechanism. Unlike cheaper monitor mounts that require manual adjustments, this one lets you reposition your screen instantly just by moving it with your hand. Height, tilt, and position changes feel smooth and natural, making it easy to find the perfect viewing angle anytime.
If you want a clean, ergonomic workspace with more usable desk space, this monitor arm is a fantastic upgrade.
I am very satisfied by this monitor arm. As soon as you open the box and take the pieces, you understand that it is robust. This was important for me because my old monitor is heavy (13 lbs) for its size (19''). The mount is easy to install, and it took me around 10 minutes. The adjustment is smooth with the gas spring mechanism. The cable management system is great to keep the desk tidy.
Mount is great. I use it all day and it keeps the monitor at the perfect ergonomic height for me - and when I want to make a little adjustment, it is easy with the gas spring arm.
I almost bought this mount from Staples, but then thought I would search online and found it here for a lot less. Very happy with the mount
