I can't find the assembly instructions; where can I get them?
You can find them here: ErgoSpring Standing Desk Converter - Standard Manual
Do they come assembled?
The standing desk converter comes in 2 pieces, the main lift assembly and the keyboard tray. So the only thing that you need to install is the keyboard tray itself. The main part of the Ergospring comes pre-assembled.
Does it only go to the highest and lowest positions? Or can it be stopped somewhere in the middle to customize the height?
It is adjustable at any level between the max and min.
Can the height of the keyboard tray be adjusted independently from the desktop?
The distance is fixed and cannot be adjusted distance from the desktop.
How long is the warranty period for this product?
One (1) year.
My ErgoSpring Standing Desk is stuck/locked, and I can't raise it. What should I do?
New converters can be a little tight until they get worn in. This can easily be fixed with lubrication. A standard lubricating oil can be used.
Here’s a video of how it is done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6Dhzbc9KJc
I wanted to try a standing workstation without committing to a completely new desk. This converter fit nicely on my existing desktop and gave me a separate area for the keyboard. The two-tier arrangement has been particularly useful because I can keep my monitor at a comfortable height while still having my work surface available. Setup was quicker than I expected. I’m also glad I found a Canadian company offering this type of equipment instead of having to order something from overseas.
I bought this for my existing desk because replacing the entire workstation didn't make sense. The two-level design gives me a dedicated spot for my keyboard while leaving the upper surface available for my monitor and other equipment. I also like that I can leave everything in place when changing positions instead of clearing the desk first. The footprint works well in my relatively compact office. Jonny was very helpful when I had questions about compatibility and made the decision much easier.
A practical way to add standing to my existing desk without replacing the entire workstation!
Fits nicely on smaller apartment desks and gives you plenty of height range for uncomfortable work hours.
Fits great on my dorm desk and didn't take up much extra space. Setup was quick since the tray was the only part I had to attach. I use it during late-night study sessions to switch between sitting and standing so I don't get stiff or sleepy. The height adjusts smoothly and it feels sturdy with my laptop and monitor on it. Great budget option if you're not ready to buy a full standing desk.
