I went with the Extra Wide model because my workstation has more equipment than a typical desk setup. Having the additional surface area makes a noticeable difference when I’m using a keyboard, mouse and two screens. I can switch between sitting and standing without having to move everything around first. The converter also works well with the existing desk I already owned, which saved me from replacing the entire workstation. It has been a practical upgrade rather than something that required changing my whole office.
The Extra Wide version gives me enough room for my keyboard, mouse, monitor and a few everyday items without feeling cramped. I especially appreciate having the option to change positions while keeping my existing desk underneath. It feels sturdy when typing, which was one of my biggest concerns with a desktop converter. The wider surface has also made it easier to keep my work setup organized. Jonny from customer support was very helpful when I had a question before ordering and followed up promptly
I needed something wide enough for my two-monitor setup, and this size worked much better than the smaller converters I looked at. There's enough room left over for my keyboard and mouse without everything feeling squeezed together. I also appreciate that I could keep my existing desk instead of replacing the whole workstation. I'm especially glad I found a Canadian company offering this kind of ergonomic equipment!
Setup took less than 10 minutes out of the box—all I had to do was click the keyboard tray into place and set it on top of my existing desk. The 37-inch width easily accommodates my two 24-inch monitors alongside my laptop, and the extra tablet slot and cable routing cut down on desktop clutter. The gas spring mechanism is incredibly smooth, making it effortless to transition between sitting and standing throughout the workday without jostling my gear. It feels rock-solid at full height and is a fantastic, hassle-free alternative to replacing my entire desk setup.
Between grading papers, planning lessons, and video calls with parents, I'm at my desk most of the day, so this converter has been great for breaking up all that sitting. The extra width is what sold me — I can have my laptop and a monitor going side by side without anything feeling squeezed, plus room for stacks of papers to grade. Setup was quick, just had to attach the keyboard tray. It's sturdy even fully loaded and the height adjusts smoothly whenever I want to stand up and stretch between classes. Wish I'd gotten one years ago!
