Love This Riser

Assembled in less than 15 minutes, while I also finished my Timmies coffee. Easy to use and works without any problems. I mean, there is not much that can go wrong with it, which is one of the things I like. I am careful when I raise and lower it to go slowly. If I went fast, my monitor might tip, but going slow it isn't a problem. I use it in the standing position about 2 hours a day, and will try to move up to standing 3 hours a day with this standing desk riser next year.

AnthroDesk Standing Desk Converter Review……

I’m sure we have all seen or heard of these “sit to stand” desks that are on the market now to help with lower back pain from sitting all day at the computer or from being at a desk all day.
In fact, in our own office, we had a staff member who desperately wanted a sit to stand desk so she did not have to sit all day, due to hip and lower back pain…..I was convinced it would not make a difference, not because the desk was the problem but because there were too many other variables, like flooring, patient history, I was wrong.

Once we received the desk and put it together, which took all of ten minutes, the difference was noticeable within the first day. She complained her back hurt less, she was more helpful to the patients because she could interact with them standing and look at them eye to eye. She was sold. It has now been nine working days using the desk and I am sold too, she does not hurt at the end of the work day, with the usual low back pain.

The desktop dimensions are approx. 25” x 17” and was quite easy to fit onto the previous existing desk. Our previous set up was 4 computer monitors aligned together on one long concrete desk. The AnthroDesk fit right into the one existing work station and the integration was seamless. It was barely noticed because it was simply designed and modern looking.

The desk itself is easy to use, the existing “lift and lock mechanism” is easy to maneuver the height and the resistance from sliding up and down is nil. Its height adjustments are smooth and precise.

As great as the desk looks and as easy as it is to use, the most important feature cannot be lost, it has helped to reduce back pain, increase productivity and contribute to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Our staff member has been much happier at work; and for a chiropractic and physiotherapy clinic, this is just good business.
